About Exchange Compare HQ
Crypto Exchange Compare HQ publishes one thing: what crypto venues charge to trade. Every fee on this site is quoted verbatim from the venue's own published fee page, carries the day it was read, and is re-fetched and matched before it ships, so a venue that has restated its schedule empties the cell rather than leaving a stale number on the page. Around the index sit guides to the choices the index cannot make for you: the entry tier against the headline rate, maker against taker, and the funding rail that frequently costs more than a year of trading. The site is operated by Ellul MT. It is not an exchange, a broker or an adviser; it holds no customer assets and executes no trades.
Why this site exists
Because the number every venue advertises is not the number you will pay. Fee schedules are tiered on 30-day volume, so the headline belongs to the largest customers and the band a new account starts in is the last row of the table. Read at that row, the nine venues here that publish a rate run from 0.1% to 1.2% a trade, a twelvefold spread on identical activity. The other five publish nothing readable at all: three render the table from JavaScript, one serves an almost empty page, and one redirects away from its own fees address. A comparison site that filled those five cells with numbers from review sites would be inventing prices for some of the best known names on the shelf, and saying so is more useful than a complete-looking table.

What it does not do
- No invented fee. Where a venue publishes none readable, this site says so and names what its page served instead.
- No blended or effective rate. Some venues print a maker and taker split and others a single headline fee; each is shown as printed, because a derived number rendered as though a venue published it is what this index exists to replace.
- No advice, and no returns. No page recommends a venue, an asset or a strategy, and no page states or implies what any of them will pay.
- No pay-to-appear. Ordering is by published fee; venues that pay us nothing, and the five that publish nothing, sit in the same tables on the same terms.

Crypto exchange entry-tier fees verified against each venue's own published fee page on 2026-09-21 by infra/ingest/hubs/cryptoexchangecomparehq.com/ingest_vendors.py: every quoted figure re-fetched and matched verbatim (hash-pinned). 9 of 14 venues print an entry-tier trading fee as text; 5 (kraken, coinbase, bybit, mexc, kucoin) render it from JavaScript or would not serve it, and are listed with that reason rather than an estimate.
